Business Practice

Our business practice is aimed primarily at the privately-held business. From the birth of a business idea to it's ultimate establishment as either a sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, or similar entity, our firm is prepared to offer advice to our clients on an as-needed basis. Certainly, in the formative days of a business enterprise, our office can be relied upon to be heavily involved with formation of the business entity, preparing agreements between principals or partners, reviewing leases, and drafting employment-related contracts.

We can also assist our client's business in avoiding the pain and potential financial devastation of a major lawsuit by evaluating its legal exposure and performing preventive legal services that anticipate potential problems. For example, our office stands ready to assist our clients with regard to employee matters, including the important preventative areas of wrongful termination, sexual harassment, and unlawful discriminatory practices. These are some of the services a new or existing business might require.

Following the early sages of a business's development, our firm is prepared to serve the organization as it grows and matures, whether leasing additional space, entering into new agreements (e.g. mergers and acquisitions, purchases, etc.) or offering assistance in avoiding or resolving disputes.
